The No Clog 1200 Box Style Pre Filter is designed to work with pumps that have in-line inlets which connect directly to the filter housing.  In other words you can install a pump right under the No Clog media.  The No Clog media is in a nylon mesh bag which is pressed in place in the filter box. The springy nature of No Clog media keeps it from collapsing and clogging while under the vacuum pressure of the pump. This means greatly increased throughput and very infrequent cleaning. When cleaning is necessary, it cleans up easily and quickly with a stream of garden hose water. The No Clog 1200 Box Style Pre Filter comes with and uses a .25 cu ft refill of No Clog Media. Pump not included.
