3.  What size pump do I need?

Typically you wan to use a pump that is equal to the size of your pond, if you had a     pond for instance that was 1500 gallons you would want to use a pump that could turn the water at a rate of 1500 gallons per hour.

4.  How do I know how many gallons my pond is?

Just figure the average length times the average width times the average depth times 7.50 the answer will tell you how many gallons your pond is.

Example:  if your ponds average length was 8 feet and the average width was 6 feet and the average depth was 1 foot 6 inches your equation would look like this;  8 x 6 x 1.5 x 7.50 = 540 gallons.
